Course Description

This course provides a foundational introduction to the Arabic language, bridging Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) pronunciation with the Lebanese dialect. It is specifically designed to help new learners achieve a “tourist level” of communication, making it ideal for those planning to visit or work in Arabic-speaking regions.

 

Curriculum Structure

The 45-hour curriculum is divided into four modules:

Module 1 Alphabet & Numbers – Mastering the sound system and script (1–5 weeks).
Module 2 Conversational Essentials – Greetings and basic personal data (2–3 weeks).
Module 3 Chronology & Inquiry – Time, dates, seasons, and question words (2–3 weeks).
Module 4 Everyday Life – Daily activities, food, clothing, and directions (1–2 weeks).

 

Learning Outcomes
