SINARC welcomes students from across the world who wish to study all levels of Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and the Lebanese dialect. As a SINARC student, you will benefit from full language immersion that combines classroom teaching with real-life practice as well as immersion in the culture of Lebanon and the Arab world through lectures, excursions and experiences. SINARC is a leading choice for Arabic language learners whose aim is not only improve their language skills but also to gain a true understanding of the region.
The SINARC Arabic program at LAU has truly been an eye-opening experience. I began the program knowing no prior knowledge of Arabic, and after one month, I have learned more than I could have in Australia. The teachers are incredibly supportive, patient, and passionate about teaching, which makes the learning process both effective and enjoyable. The cultural field trips added so much depth to the experience, allowing me to connect with Lebanon’s rich history, traditions, and daily life in an authentic and memorable way. I highly recommend this program for anyone, regardless of their level of Arabic, who is eager to learn the language while immersing themselves in the heart of Lebanese culture.
What makes LAU’s SINARC program so unique is its willingness to share Lebanon with you. From historical landmarks, history, cedar forests, and traditional breakfasts to artists & writers, views on current events, cooking recipes, jokes, and much more. No topic is off topic. It is informative, educational, and a great time.
